DJ Johnny Juice

Dj Johnny Juice has been involved with Chuck D and Public Enemy for over 20 years, and has been been with Iller from day one. This legendary Strong Island DJ / producer and engineer was part of the production on influential hits like It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back by Public Enemy in the late 80′s and more recently songs such as 2005′s New Whirl Odor and Beats And Places, and last year’s Bring That Beat Back.

Born in NYC and raised in the Bronx he moved to Long Island in the mid 80′s where he became a DJ along with embracing the culture of breakdancing and graffiti art. DJ Jonny Juice is bringing an old school flavour to new hip hop happening right now – having previously worked with artists such as LL Cool J, Slick Rick, and the Beastie Boys. Most recently he’s been taking to the stage with his own band titled baNNed who opened for Public Enemy on their most recent tour. working on the tenchu aksira soundtrack, the new PE, new DMC, new Raheem (furious five), new Treacherous 3, new BaNNed, and more new movie and tv scores. Without a doubt Juice continues to put in work to pertain and develop hip hop.
